Habitación que habla
The mind as an habitable space: a room in constant change, where objects, relationships, and meanings shift according to what is being lived. In this painting, that room becomes a way of giving form to what is usually difficult to name, thoughts, tensions, desires, expectations, and contradictions.
The work moves between observation and confrontation. Like an internal game of chess, invisible forces such as pressure, priorities, fear, and self-imposed demands are placed in relation to one another. The room is not a neutral setting, but a psychological one, shaped by the weight of what is felt and what is unresolved.
Habitación que habla reflects on self-perception: the experience of looking inward while also being confronted by oneself. It is about the gaze turned back toward the self, and the complexity of occupying both positions at once—observer and observed, judge and witness. In that tension, the painting opens a space for recognition, but also for a more honest form of self-understanding.
